Welcome to the Magic and the Mind Blog

By Tom Interval

Magic and the MindMagic and the Mind is an enrichment program using magicians’ techniques to teach students about the psychology and neuroscience of deception, helping them to understand how their minds work while having fun at the same time.

Designed by cognitive scientist Dr. Iris Oved and me, a professional magician, the first San Diego-based program will be a summer camp for children between 12 and 18, held at  the University of California (UCSD) Extension.

Iris and I welcome you to this blog and encourage you to leave comments and feedback. While the blog is new as of today, we intend to fill it with thought-provoking content in the weeks and months that follow, so please stop back as Magic and the Mind continues to gain momentum.

To learn more about the program, please visit the Magic and the Mind website and follow us on Facebook and Twitter. And if you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to send us an email.
